A good sales page answers the buyer’s questions in the order they have them. It doesn’t need tricks. SplitPartner’s terms forbid fake urgency, fake reviews and income claims anyway, and buyers can tell.
The order buyers think in
- Is this for me? Name who it’s for in the first lines. “For class reunion organizers who have six weeks and no budget.”
- What problem does it solve? In their words, not yours.
- What exactly do I get? List it: pages, files, formats, how long it takes to use.
- Will it work for me? Show what it looks like inside. Explain why you made it and why you’re qualified, briefly and truthfully.
- What does it cost, and is it worth it? The price, plainly. Compare it to the real alternative (hiring someone, doing it from scratch), not to a made-up “value”.
- What if it doesn’t work for me? Your refund policy, stated clearly.
- How do I get it? One clear button.
- Questions people ask. The real ones, answered honestly.
Proof you can use
- Pictures of the real product: pages, screens, a short video walkthrough.
- Reviews from real buyers, with permission. Free Sales Page Hero pages collect verified reviews from actual buyers.
- Your real experience: “I’ve run four reunions” is proof. “Thousands of happy customers” you can’t show isn’t.
What to leave out
- Fake scarcity. A digital file doesn’t run out. Only use a deadline you’ll keep, like a launch price that really ends.
- Made-up value stacks. “$497 value” for things you never sold at $497.
- Income or results claims you can’t show are typical.
- Testimonials you wrote yourself, or reviews from friends who didn’t buy.
Words that sell
- Specific beats impressive. “42 printable pages, 9 games, a planning timeline” beats “everything you need”.
- Short sentences. Plain words. Read it out loud.
- One idea per section, with a heading that says the idea.
Tip
Use Write it with AI on your product. Fill in “About this product” once, and the prompts write first drafts that already follow these rules, with [brackets] for anything you need to fill in. Edit every line before you publish.
