The Go live button on the product page stays grey until three things are true. The product page lists whatever is missing under “Before you can go live”.
Must be done (SplitPartner checks these)
- Every partner has signed the partner agreement.
- Every partner has set up payouts with Stripe.
- There is something to deliver: a file or a link in How buyers get it.
It also waits if a change is pending with sales paused for it.
Should be done (only you can check these)
- Buy it yourself in your head, step by step. Read the checkout page as a stranger. Is the price right? Does the description say exactly what they get?
- Open the delivery in a private window. See Add what buyers get.
- Read the thank-you page. Tell buyers what to do first.
- State your refund policy on your sales page. Under the terms, unless your page says otherwise, digital products can be refunded within 14 days.
- Remove anything you can’t back up. No made-up reviews, income claims, or “only 3 left” on a digital file. See Write an honest sales page that sells.
- Decide where you’ll send people first. A sales page is better for people who don’t know the product yet.
After you press it
The product page shows your checkout link (and your sales page, if you have one) with Copy buttons. If you had an early list, use Email the early list in the Prelaunch page tab. See Launch week, day by day.
You can Pause sales at any time from the same spot.
