Applications show in the Affiliates box on the product page under Waiting for a partner, with the note the affiliate wrote about how they’ll share it.
Deciding
Any one partner can decide, and everyone is told:
- Approve: they get an email with their link.
- Approve, and always approve them: also puts them on *your* always-approve list.
- Decline: they’re told, and can’t promote it unless they apply again and a partner approves them.
What to look for
- A real audience that fits. A newsletter for teachers promoting a teacher planner beats a huge general audience.
- A plan. “I’ll mention it in my weekly email and pin a post” is a plan. A blank note is a question to ask.
- Their own site or profile. Look at how they talk to their audience. Would you be glad to have your product next to it?
Always approve
Your always-approve list is yours, across every product you’re a partner on. Someone on it is approved automatically on every product you’re on that takes affiliates, now and later, without applying. Use it for affiliates who have already sold honestly for you.
Click Always approve on an approved affiliate to add them, and click it again (✓ Always approved) to take them off. Removing an affiliate from a product also takes them off your list.
Special rate
Special rate sets a different commission for one affiliate on this product. It’s a money change, so every signed partner approves. Use it for a launch partner with a big list, or a long-time affiliate.
Removing someone
Remove stops their link earning from then on. Affiliates who break the rules (spam, fake reviews, false claims, not disclosing their commission) can be removed, and SplitPartner can cancel commissions earned that way.
The table
For each approved affiliate: their rate, Visits (people who reached the checkout through their link), Sales, Earned, and whether their payouts are set up.
