Click + New product on your dashboard. Nothing is public until every partner signs and someone presses Go live, so you can fill this in and fix it later.
The fields
| Field | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Product name | What buyers see at checkout and on every page. Up to 120 characters. |
| Short description | One or two sentences buyers read at checkout. Say plainly what they get. |
| Web address | The end of your checkout address, splitpartner.com/p/your-address. Leave it blank and it’s made from the name. 3 to 40 small letters, numbers and dashes. |
| Price (USD) | What the buyer pays. You can change it later; a new price applies to new sales only. |
| Partners | Each partner’s email, role and percentage. You’re listed first. Up to 10 partners. |
Choosing the web address
Pick it now if you’ll print it, say it on a podcast, or put it in pages you build ahead of time. Short and obvious wins: /p/reunion-kit beats /p/the-ultimate-class-reunion-party-planning-kit-2026.
Selling alone
You can list just yourself at 100%. It works the same way: one checkout, payouts to your Stripe, affiliates if you want them. You can add partners later with a split change.
Partners and percentages
- Use the email address each partner will log in with. They must log in with exactly that address to sign.
- The role is a short description of what they do (“Wrote the content”, “Brings the audience”). It shows in the agreement and on public pages, so it’s worth being specific.
- Percentages can have decimals (33.34 / 33.33 / 33.33) and must add up to 100.
After you create it
You land on the product page. From there:
- Invite each partner with Email or Copy link in the Partners box.
- Sign the agreement yourself.
- Add what buyers get in Make changes → How buyers get it.
- Set up payouts if you haven’t.
